We have decided to discontinue offering services, due to a very unsafe environment located approximately a mile upstream from our location.

In good conscience, we cannot run rental trips in that locale because we are increasingly concerned about the safety of others using the area.

The situation has made it unfeasible financially to run an outfitting business from our Mayo River site, but the safety of others is a greater concern to us than the financial loss incurred.

Eagle Falls Outfitters have a better (safer) location on the Dan River and offer the best rates in Rockingham County on canoe, kayak and tube rentals.

Linda Adams, owner, will be glad to help you schedule a trip. Call Linda at 336-427-3088 0r 336-613-0647, or visit their website for more information.

We are an outfitter offering equipment rental (tubes or canoes) and shuttle service for river trips on the Mayo and Dan rivers. We will be happy to arrange self or professionally guided trips of various lengths, ease or difficulty, depending on your needs.

North Carolina is hot in the summertime. In low water conditions, tubing is an excellent way to cool off and have fun on the rivers. We also have inner tubes available for rent to your family and friends and can provide shuttle services back to your vehicle after your float trip.

A day spent on the river has many blessings: the opportunity to see beautiful scenery, wildlife, and the joy of discovery of an ever-changing riverine environment. As the river turns and falls, one may see a great blue heron take flight or watch a river otter at play. Wildflowers line the riverbank, sunlight and shadow mix, reflecting surroundings in the water's flowing surface.

Call or email us today for more information on trip times and schedules. We look forward to hearing from you. Thanks for visiting our site.
